Hello
Hi, I’m Michelle Coffman—wife, mom of three, and the founder of True Impact Books. I’m building a business (and life) rooted in intention, balance, and impact right here in the heart of Idaho.

At True Impact Books, I help small business owners organize their finances without stress, shame, or overwhelm. Whether your books are a total mess or you just need someone you can trust to take over the monthly maintenance, I meet you where you are—judgment-free.
I know firsthand that bookkeeping isn’t just about numbers—it’s about peace of mind, freedom to grow, and space to dream bigger. If you're ready to feel confident in your business finances and finally take bookkeeping off your plate, you’re in the right place.
My Story
My journey into entrepreneurship wasn’t a straight line—it was shaped by years of working in nonprofit finance, earning degrees in Accounting, Finance, and Business, and most recently, becoming a mom of three beautiful kids. Each season of life has reminded me what matters most: time, peace of mind, and meaningful work.
After working for a large nonprofit hospital managing complex fund accounting and financial reports, I kept thinking about all the smaller businesses who didn’t have someone in their corner. So many hardworking business owners were trying to keep up with their books while juggling everything else—and feeling totally overwhelmed.
That’s when I knew it was time to step out and create something of my own. True Impact Books was born from the belief that small business owners deserve support that’s not only accurate and professional, but kind, clear, and tailored to them.
I’ve seen the transformation that happens when someone finally understands their numbers, has a plan, and isn’t afraid to ask questions. My role is to bring calm to the chaos, offer a fresh start, and help you make financial decisions from a place of confidence—not confusion.
This business isn’t just about balancing books. It’s about helping other business owners live a life that feels balanced, too.
